This past weekend, Jamie and I went to New York! It was my first time there, and we had a
great time staying with our buddies Andy and Katie. I also got to see some girlfriends from
college which was so wonderful!

The girls stayed with Grandma and Grandpa through the
weekend, and Maggie said she had so much fun!
I was so bummed that we had to miss Will’s 2nd birthday
party, but at least the girls got to go.
Looks like it was a pretty amazing party!

I am so in love with the girls right now. They are interacting with each other more and
more, and I can see that Evie is really looking up to Maggie right now.

Jamie was driving the girls home from daycare earlier this
week, and totally unprompted, Maggie said, “We should get Mommy a trophy
because she is awesome!”
Seriously?! Who says that?! The girl who gets a big, special dessert with
sprinkles on top, that’s who!

Mags came home from daycare with a fever on Tuesday, and has
been a bit under the weather. Hoping it’s
only a little virus!

For Maggie's "VH1 Behind the Music" episode one day:
Disclaimer - this is possibly the worst post ever for Father's Day. I didn't get any pictures of the girls with their grandpas, and only one with their daddy. Womp womp. This past weekend was Foley
Fest! Jamie had to be there all day Friday through Sunday to coordinate
all the bands and music for the event, so the poor guy didn’t really get a
proper Father’s Day celebration. While it sometimes drives me crazy how
involved he is in all sorts of things, it’s one of the things I admire and love
most about him.
#1 Dad!
I was home with the girls all weekend, and it was so nice to have
a lot of quality time together. Maggie had her second swim lesson on
Saturday, and I brought Evie along with me. She loved seeing the pool and
watching Maggie swim around. We’re trying to get Maggie more comfortable
with putting her face in the water, so now we are constantly on the search for
princesses underwater (who you obviously can’t see unless your face is below the
surface).
Saturday evening the Rabines all came to
Foley Fest so Jamie could spend some time with all of us. It was
hot!! The kids seemed to have a fun time, and I enjoyed watching them
play around.

Sunday we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's for dinner and swimming. Evie spent 98% of the time climbing in and out of the rocking chair while Maggie and Will played.
