November Goodness

 November has been a fun and busy month!  I celebrated another year of life, and got spoiled by my family!  Top gifts this year were a new Apple watch, a old-timey popcorn maker and a combo air fryer / instapot!  I love food.

COVID has consumed the country, so we are back to functioning from home.  Jamie is teaching from home, the girls are virtual schooling at least until a week after Thanksgiving, and I'm supposed to work from home too.  Thankfully Ben can go to daycare, because it is really difficult to keep the girls on track and answer all their questions while trying to do our own jobs!

Jamie spends most of his Sundays prepping for his week.
Ben assists.

Not much else to report, so here's some photos of the kids:

The girls sometimes play checkers.  Sometimes they also add
chess pieces and create a totally new (incomprehensible) game

We had to pretend to lose our telephone because Ben literally just wanted to talk on it non-stop.  He can be pretty chatty!

Halloween 2020

 We had a very nice Halloween this year.  We normally rush to 2 or 3 Halloween events before the actual holiday; this year it was just pumpkin carving and regular trick-or-treating, and it was great!

Happy Halloween!

Maggie did a really good job this year, all her own carving;
Evie needed some guidance, but was there to critique every step

We set Ben up with washable paints, and he loved it!

In other exciting news, our friends Andy and Katie have moved from New York to Royal Oak!  So excited to have our friends close, and I'm sure Ben and Henry will be buds!

Family photo!

Happy, chill polar bear!

Ben continues to be a daredevil constantly, and it's really hard to keep up with him.  He had a bad fall in the kitchen last week, so we had to rush to the pediatrician.  It looked really bad, but thankfully no concussion or other concerns.  Then he scratched his eye.  Then he got hit in the nose at daycare.  Right now my poor baby looks like he's in Fight Club (but of course he can't talk about it).
