It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Here’s a few more photos from our playtime at Grammer and Pops’ last weekend.

Playtime

Grammer and Pops have a whipped cream in-the-face game that Luke and Maggie were excited to try.  Maggie loved the concept… not so much the execution…

We put up all our Christmas decorations over the weekend, and the girls love them!  Maggie’s job is to use the clicker to turn on the Christmas Tree, garland and nativity lights each night when she gets home (she takes this very seriously, and often turns them off so she can turn them back on).  Evie enjoys playing with the Little People nativity under the tree, and is really into snow globes.

Maggie finger is officially fine… for now… the doctor wants a 6-month checkup, but we’re done with tape and splints for now!  Naturally, Maggie fell at school two days later and has a big scrape under her chin.

Here’s the girls “dancing” while I practice some Christmas music on the piano.  I love watching Evie try to imitate Maggie.

Maggie is super excited about her birthday tomorrow!  Grammer sent her a Doc McStuffins costume as a special surprise, so she decided to give Daddy a check-up.  To the untrained ear, this sounds like garble… but if you deal with young kids, you might recognize her song from the show:

The Doc is in!

Mrs. Sandoval (a super-crafty mom) sent us an early Christmas gift this week.  She made us some Finding Dory potholders, a microwave bowl holder (amazing! used it three times already), a kleenex holder and adorable matching aprons!

At least we look cute, even if the food stinks

Am I doing this right?
