Eat em up Tigers

This weekend we got to go to the Tigers game in style with cousins Pat and Donna!  Donna hooked us up with amazing tickets, parking and free rides on the carousel and ferris wheel!

We visited Donna’s office inside Comerica first, and the girls got to play with their giant stuffed tiger.

The girls were pretty cool for most of the game, and I think we took a break for rides around the 5^th or 6^th inning.  Evie was doing ok by the end of the game, so we were able to stay for fireworks!  The show always impresses me, it was awesome!  Evie was definitely freaked out by the noise, but I think she liked most of it!

We spent the rest of the weekend working hard around the house.  Jamie painted the kitchen, I prepped our deck, we both worked on staining the whole deck, planted some flowers, cleaned some windows and got ready to install our backsplash in the kitchen!  By Tuesday I was very tired and sore, but happy to have accomplished so much!

The girls went to the Memorial Day parade in St. Claire Shores with Grandma and Grandpa and Will on Sunday.  It was a hot one, but they had a great time!  Nancy Kerrigan was there!

The Birthday Month

May is the month of many birthdays in our family!  My brother, my sister, my mom-in-law and two of my nieces!  What happens nine months before May??

We celebrated sweet Claire's birthday on Saturday - I love this little one!  She is such a chill kid, very go with the flow.  She hates attention just like Bobby, and makes the cutest try-not-to-smile face when everyone's looking at her.

Mothers Day

We had a busy but special Mother's Day this year.  Jamie and the girls brought me breakfast from my favorite spot, and got me some very thoughtful gifts. I was gross and in pajamas all morning - so no photos for you! 

We went over to Bobby's house for brunch and the kids had a ball as always!

Tuesday was Grandma's birthday, so Jamie and Amy took her out for the day while Rex stayed with the kiddos!  Happy Birthday, Mom!

Jamie’s photography class had an assignment to take pictures of four different age groups, and a lot of the students had a hard time finding children to photograph.  The girls got to go to Jamie’s first hour to model a little bit.  They also got some hands-on training with the fancy cameras.
