This past weekend was fun and busy! Jamie and I went to the Ypsi Beer Festival on
Saturday for a bachelor / bachelorette shindig.
It was insanely hot, and I’m pretty sure I sweated out all the
beer!

On Sunday we went to Jimmy John’s Field to catch a minor
league baseball game, and we brought Luke along as part of his birthday
celebration! The field is really nice,
not overcrowded, and really family-friendly.
It was Pirates and Princesses day, so Maggie and Luke got to meet a
bunch of characters. Evie was just
pleased to stroll around independently the whole time. We were in the party pavilion area, so there
was a lot of space to move around. The
kids got free air-brush tattoos (Luke literally stopped about 20 people to show
them his pirate flag), and Jamie got a silly diamond-back frog. Luke told every princess that he loved them,
Maggie just kind of stood there awkwardly, but happy.

The playground is really cool, but definitely made for older
kids. The sign said it was designed for
5 and up; Luke totally owned it, and Maggie was able to get around parts of it. There were lots of ropes and serious climbing
challenges. They also had a little
whiffle ball baseball diamond!
Seriously, this place was awesome!
