We had a crazy fun weekend celebrating the big wedding, and Maggie was thrilled to be a flower girl!
The bride and her flower girl
Friday was the rehearsal dinner, so Uncle Bobby watched the
girls while we went to dinner at Wright & Co. – yum session. The girls had a great time, and Maggie
apparently spent all night saying, “Uncle Bobby, can I tell you something?” and
then launching into a story – it’s her new phrase now.
Taking notes
Hop scotch (or hot skopch as Maggie calls it)
Saturday I took the girls to soccer in the morning, and then
we came home to get ready for the wedding.
I have never really learned how to do much with hair, so I was pretty
darn proud of myself for putting together this bun:
Bam!
I sprayed a pound of shellac and stuck 10,000 bobby pins in
her hair – stayed relatively neat throughout the day!
Jamie and the guys “got ready” (aka chilled out and then got
dressed in 10 minutes) at our house and Maggie and I went to pick up the lovely
bride and her sister, and to get some photos taken. Evie stayed home with Uncle Jason and had a
nice, chill evening.

Still not as tall as Daddy
The wedding was at the Jam Handy downtown, which is an old
warehouse converted for fun times!
Everything was really beautiful!
Maggie took her flower girl job very seriously, and took approximately 3
minutes to walk 40 feet down the aisle, selecting just the right amount of
flower petals to place every few steps.
It was very precious!
Focusing on the proper petal to leaf ratio
Ready to walk down the aisle!
Marriage! Yay!
Congrats Andy!
I was very
proud of my little girl – she had no nap, had people in her face all day, and
maintained a very sweet attitude the whole time. There were also lots of snacks.
My lovely daughter. Eating a pretzel.

Most of her photos look like this because she couldn't stop dancing!
Party time
Our amazing friend Julie came to pick up Maggie and took her
for her very first sleepover at Kate’s house!
Maggie has a really wonderful time, and it sounds like everything went
well! Kate and her sister put on
princess dresses so they could all be lovely ladies together.
