Jamie and the girls were home all last week for winter break. It was really nice to have Jamie around for help, and good to spend more time with the girls... that being said, it was pretty much our goal to get the girls out of the house each day so I could get some peace and quiet!!
Grandma and Grandpa took the girls and Will to the Shrine Circus last week. The girls have been obsessed with The Greatest Showman movie, so they were totally enthralled with the experience! They really loved the tightrope walker, the dancing bears and the trapeze artists. Grandpa even took them on an elephant ride before the show started!
Elephant ride!
Hanging with Uncle Jason

Awesome grandparents!!
Here's Evie pretending to be on the stage, and not ok with someone stealing the spotlight:
Maggie had a McDonald's date with her school buddy, and then Jamie took them and Evie to Chuck E Cheese to meet up with Evie's favorite friend!
Friend fun
Evie's besr bud
Grammer and Pops came over one day and took the girls to Detroit Kid City, and couldn't get them to leave! The girls got to have McDonald's for lunch! (Maggie had McDonald's three days in a row... I realize this is not the best parenting, but considering the newborn exhaustion, I'm allowing a parenting mulligan).

Grandma took the kids for a sleepover and then they went bowling for their first time!
First time bowling!
Maggie had a birthday party at the trampoline place - she loved it!
Superhero jump!
Jamie took the girls to the Creative Arts Studio for an afternoon:

Unicorn!
So we basically visited every kid-place in the area throughout the week. The girls had fun and we avoided the winter break boredom!
Ben's umbilical cord fell out last week, so he got to have his first bath in the tub! Evie was my big helper, and continues to help at bath time. Maggie is over it.
Ahh so relaxing
A bit unsure, but mostly content
Helping hands
My sweet boy
Ben had his 2-week appointment at the pediatrician, and it went great! It was my first outing alone with him, and it felt so good to drive and get some fresh air!
Ben gained back the weight he lost from the hospital, plus a few more ounces and is now at 8lb 13.5 oz (62nd percentile) and is 21.5 inches tall (77th percentile). Everything is good and we don't have to go back until 2 months!
Still a big fan of this guy
...and his badass protector

Tummy time!
