Summertime livin

Here comes a mish-mash of June and July - the summer has gone so quickly!

It was a good school year for all the kids! They did very well in their classes, good friendships, thoughtful teachers... but we were all ready for summer break!

Jamie's cousin Sue got married in June, and Ben and Evie were part of the wedding party! Poor Evie locked her knees while she was standing during the ceremony and almost went down fainting - thankfully we realized it at the last second and guided her to sit, but she was freaked. Other than that, it was a really beautiful wedding and we had a fabulous time!

We had a relaxing Father's Day around here. Evie made rice pudding and Maggie made baklava as gifts for him. Ben made... a card, lol.

Keeping with tradition, we took Ben with Grandpa to his first concert. All 3 kids have now seen the Counting Crows at Freedom Hill with Grandpa for their first show.
