We went to Zoo Boo with Bobby, Al and Luke yesterday! It was really cute, though Maggie was definitely ready for bed the whole time. Luke was the cutest construction worker I've ever seen (no butt crack!), and seemed to enjoy roaming around.
A really cool Lady Bug
A little bit chilly, no smiles Aunt Holly
Have Lady Gaga call my people
Maybe it's time to go home...
Maggie figured out how to crawl with her braces on this week, so she's moving better than ever!
Maggie and the remote... no matter what setting I use, she
figures out how to screw up whatever we're watching!
My poor baby girl has a stomach bug today, and is totally wiped out. She can't keep anything down (as evidenced by my four stinky shirts) and is pretty miserable. No fever so far, but I can't help but be super anxious. It's going to be a long night...
Maggie is a crawling machine now, time to do some serious baby-proofing! She's been a little cranky this week - seems to be demanding more attention than usual. My favorite thing Maggie does now is feed me. She'll take a bite from the spoon in my hand as long as I take a bite from the spoon in her hand. She also likes to feed me her Cheerios. I think she's getting sick of baby food now that she eats other things. Time to start getting some new grub!
We went to the cider mill last Sunday and had a great time! The donuts were delicious, Maggie thoroughly approved!
More donut?
It's a polka dot kind of day
Playing the alphabet song... again...
Maggie's hair was looking pretty shaggy, so Grammer and I took her for another haircut today. This time we went to a fun place for kids, and Maggie was pretty happy (in the beginning at least).
I love being pampered (and not in the diaper way)
We gave Maggie a chance to do some of Daddy's hobbies this week. First, we did art with pudding. I was expecting her to be tasting her fingers, but she didn't try once! It took a minute, but you can see when her light bulb goes off:
Finally, we have a crawling baby! She takes a few steps with her hands, then pulls both her legs in at the same time, it cracks us up!
Maggie wants more control over eating. For some reason, she will let me feed her lunch without any problem, but at dinner, she absolutely has to have a spoon in her hand and dip it into the food... she isn't concerned with putting her spoon in her mouth, she just needs to help stir up her food. It's pretty funny, just a lot more cleanup than before!
Oh, hey you
Maggie loves standing and looking
out the window
I wish I was a little bit taller, I wish a baller...
If we hold her hands, Maggie does a great job of walking on her own. I can tell that her brace is really starting to annoy her now that she's more mobile. I think we need to start putting it on/off for naps throughout the day to add up to 16 hours total... it'll be a pain, but I think she'll be a lot happier.
We went to Brady's 1st birthday party today, though Maggie was being a bit of a diva. She's been a little off these past two days, and she was really irritated most of the time. She really enjoyed the ball pit though!
Time flies when you're having fun! Maggie is an awesome 10-month old! She's pulling herself up, taking little steps with her walker, semi-crawling and rolling, eating most foods, and has her front eight teeth.
We had a good weekend so far - homecoming at Bishop Foley was on Friday and they won! Saturday we hung around the house and did some shopping, then Uncle Jason stayed with Maggie while we went to check out my cousin's new restaurant, Huerto! Everything was so good (especially the margaritas), we had an awesome time! We'll definitely be going back!
We went to check out day care this week, and Maggie absolutely loved having all the kids around. We are planning to start sending her one day a week, hopefully it works out well!
