Go Blue!

This past weekend we received four free tickets to the U of M game against Wisconsin!!  While not totally geeked about taking our 1 and 3 year-olds, we decided it was too good of opportunity to pass up.

Go Blue!

Ugh, I just love going to games there.  The crowd, the band, the cheers, the fight song… so great!!  Maggie was pretty good the whole time.  Evie was a little cranky because we skipped most of her nap, but even she was pretty cool.  We had to leave during the 3rd quarter, but it was a really great time!  I will now wait 10 years to bring them to another game.

Attempting to get a family shot... Evie wasn't having it

Are you two related?

Still not having it

Like she owns the place

Love!

Hail!

Smiles all around

First game!
(Evie did not want to pose with her certificate)

On Sunday we did church and the parish picnic.  During communion, Maggie ended up right next to one of her best friends from school and was so excited.  Right in front of Fr. Gerry, she hugged her buddy and told her, “I love you.”  At the end of mass, Fr. Gerry asked Maggie to stand up and wave and then told everyone the little story, saying it was a beautiful image in front of the Eucharist.  Maggie thought she was pretty special, whispering, “is he talking about me?!” and giggling.  The whole thing was adorable.

We are getting ready for Andy and Katie’s wedding this week!  Jamie is the best man and Maggie is the flower girl!
