The Donoghue Family: America the Beautiful

Happy holiday week! We've had a very busy past week, and so I have an annoying amount of photos!

Last weekend the four of us rented a house in Cadillac and spent a few days hanging at the beach and having some fun family time. We also got to see most of my family throughout the weekend!

On Saturday my cousin Margie invited the Wilt side of the family over for a reunion at the Mehall cottage. The kids had soooo much fun, and it was so great to see everyone! My favorite part was singing happy birthday, Wilt-style, with so many people. So loud, so off-pitch, so wonderful!

I need one of these in my life... also a lake. and a cottage.

My Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary was a few weeks ago, and so they cut the cake to celebrate:

We drove home on Sunday and then back to work (for me) on Monday. Monday was Grandpa's birthday, so the kids took him to the aquarium for birthday fun...not entirely sure that was the relaxing way he wanted to spend his birthday, but they sure had fun!

After such a busy weekend, we relaxed on the Fourth of July. Jamie took the girls to see the penguins and the splash pad at the zoo to cool off. He also took them to the zoo last week with some friends, so I threw those photos in too! If you're still reading this, I'm proud of you... and also concerned that you are not filling your time with enough productivity!
